I quoted a family who were currently on Preferred $2500. I put them on Premier $2500/0% and saved them $250 a month. That’s $3000 in a year. That's one of their deductibles in savings!

I do like the new products, but the negativity of the lack of over 65 products weighs much heavier than the positive of the new products. For me.

I agree with the last comment... it is really hard to keep having to say to our clients... "the rates haven't been approved yet for over 65 products. I will contact you when I get them in". what do we keep telling them.. they are going to go elsewhere and we are going to lose out, again like we missed out last year not being able to serve our 65 and over clients....I have heard other insurance companies have their rates already approved and are writing new business eff 6-1-10 so what is up with that...

Agreed… The Over 65 product delay has become frustrating... but between you all and me... I have heard rumblings that we will hear something this week. Hopefully information is short coming! :-)

LOVE the new plans. With all of the grumbling going on about the rate increase on the older plans it is nice to be able to offer an alternative that you can be excited about. I am more at ease selling these plans than I have been with any in the last 10 years.
